About the masterclass

The Plant Empowerment Summer School is designed for growers who want to take the next step in data-driven growing. Over four intensive days, you’ll work alongside Plant Empowerment consultants and a small international group of experienced growers to explore how climate, light, water, energy and plant physiology interact.

The programme combines in-depth classroom sessions with greenhouse visits, practical discussions and one-on-one interaction with experts. Rather than learning fixed recipes, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of plant processes and learn how to apply the Plant Empowerment principles within your own greenhouse.

What you’ll learn

During the Summer School, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of the Plant Empowerment philosophy and learn how to apply it in your own greenhouse. You’ll explore how climate, light, water, energy and plant physiology interact, and how these processes influence plant health, crop performance and resource efficiency. Throughout the programme, you’ll discover how to use greenhouse data to support growing decisions, optimize irrigation and climate strategies, and create the conditions for healthier, more resilient crops.

Who should join?

The Summer School is intended for experienced greenhouse growers, crop managers and cultivation specialists who already have a solid foundation in greenhouse growing and want to deepen their understanding of Plant Empowerment. Because the programme is highly interactive and discussion-based, participation is limited to a small international group of growers.

Practical information

Admission requirements	The Summer School is intended for experienced greenhouse growers and crop managers. After registering your interest, we’ll schedule a short intake call to ensure the programme is the right fit for you.
What do you need?	Nothing is required. An open mind and willingness to share experiences with fellow growers will help you get the most out of the programme.
Learning format	Four intensive days combining expert-led masterclasses, greenhouse visits, practical case studies, group discussions and one-on-one sessions with Plant Empowerment specialists.
Follow-up	We’ll organise a follow-up session where participants reconnect, share experiences, discuss implementation challenges and exchange practical results from their own greenhouses.
Course completion	After completing the workshop, you’ll receive a personalized certificate of completion.
Location	The Summer School is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Transportation between the training venue and all greenhouse visits throughout the programme is fully arranged by Plant Empowerment.
